While most of us are enjoying the sunshine over the Summer, (when we get it!) lots of companies are thinking ahead and have started the ball rolling for planning their Christmas party. Last year we were lucky enough to get a call to be involved in Red Bull’s end of season bash which proved to be a lavish affair.
Following a season that saw them clinch five pole positions and six victories, Red Bull were more than due a celebration. They chose the stunning setting of Aynhoe Park in Oxfordshire to host an extravagant party in a marquee for the whole team.
The evening was hosted by British Formula One tv presenter Jake Humphrey and the team’s drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber, who wowed the crowd by roaring down the red carpet in an RB5.
After a delicious dinner and award’s ceremony, guests were treated to a fantastic acoustic set from Razorlight front man, Johnny Borrell, followed by DJ Erok who played into the early hours and kept the mobile nightclub’s dance floor full all night. When they weren’t dancing, guests were able to relax on our chill out furniture which provided a much needed place for them to catch their breath!
Having run several events at Aynhoe Park previously, we were well acquainted with the venue and knew how lighting effects would transform it into something very special. Using everything from up-lighters, to gobos with the team’s logo on them the final effect was fantastic. We look forward to hearing what they have planned for this year!
