We are often contacted by Wedding Planners to provide event equipment on dry hire. This Summer we supplied a selection of event equipment to a wedding held at the fantastic Wasing Park in Berkshire. The wedding organiser became stranded in Israel during the volcanic ash cloud problems so we swiftly went from being simply a supplier, to providing an Event Manager at the last minute to take her place.

The happy couple wanted a very relaxed feel to the day but to have a fantastic mobile nightclub as the focus in the evening. We supplied our chill out furniture for guests to relax on and then really concentrated on making the nightclub area a highlight for guests. Our lighting chief and technicians were on hand to make sure everything from the nightclub lighting to the uplighting of the marquee ran smoothly and gave the desired effect.


We also wanted to make sure the marquee looked as good from the outside as it did on the inside and make the most of the great venue. We installed City Lights, festoon lighting, HMI up-lighters and fairy lighting to give the area a real “wow factor” for when the evening guests arrived. The wedding organiser was thrilled when we sent over the “after” pictures to her and she has already asked us to work with her again on other events.
